Welcome!

So, let me introduce myself.  My name is Mechele R. Dillard, and I am a salesperson with ERA Three Rivers Realty in Ellijay, Georgia.  So, if you are looking to buy or sell in the North Georgia area, you have definitely came to the right place!  And, should you be looking for help in another region or state, please feel free to drop me a line nevertheless--maybe I can help shorten your search for a realtor who can help make your real estate dreams come true.

I am a life-long resident of Gilmer County, except for those 5 years in Athens at UGA--1988-1993.  Do I know this area?  Oh, yes, I know Gilmer County.  I know the people, the places, the teachers, the elected officials, the seasons, the apples. . .yes, I know Gilmer County.  Not only do I know Gilmer County, I am familiar with surrounding areas, such as Fannin, Union, Towns, Pickens, Whitfield, Murray, Lumpkin, and Dawson. . .call me, whatever your North Georgia needs might be.  During football season, I volunteer with the Touchdown Club, spending my Fridays cheering on our Bobcats to victory from the souvenir stands--get your cowbells here!  No, I don't have kids of my own--I have a much-beloved kitty, Eren, who is spoiled beyond all comprehension--but I enjoy doing my part for the kids and teens of the county, nevertheless.  The coordinators of the Touchdown Club were rather surprised, actually, when I showed interest in helping, since I *don't* have children to support in the system, but, you know, the way I see it is that my *not* having kids is a plus in this capacity--after all, what parent has FREE TIME to volunteer?????????

So, that is a little window into my personal life. . .now, on with my life as a Realtor.

Too often, people find themselves afraid of approaching a Realtor.  Will a Realtor really listen?  Will a Realtor serve their interests, or will he serve himself?  Buyers fear being persuaded by a Realtor to purchase something that wasn't really what they had in mind, simply because it is what the Realtor had on hand. Sellers sometimes worry that their Realtor may be urging them to close a deal simply because it is on the table, not because it is the best deal for them.  Unfortunately, these are legitimate concerns.

My perspective, as well as my promise to you, however, is this:  my goal is your goal.  If you want a certain type of property, it is my job, as your Realtor, to find that property, not just force what I already have on hand upon you, convincing you that it is "good enough."  And, of course, if you are selling, it is my job to work with you to ascertain a fair market value for your home and work to secure a reasonable deal, one you will be happy with when it's all said and done.  I want you to be happy with the results of your closing, whether buying or selling.  I want your dreams to become reality.

So, as a client, what can you expect from me?  Honesty.  Integrity.  Hard work.  LOTS of hard work.  And, absolutely, you can be sure that your best interests will be forefront in my mind throughout our working relationship.  Your goals will become my goals.  Your dreams will be my dreams.  Your best interests will be served.
